THE MELBOURNE, BRUNSWICK AND COBURG TRAMWAYS TRUST
The Melbourne, Brunswick and Coburg Tramways Trust was constituted by the Melbourne, Brunswick and Coburg Tramways Act 1914. The work of designing and construction the tramways was commenced in June, 1914.

The Tramway Museum Society of Victoria has been preserving trams and related infrastructure since 1963.

In this time we have collected Melbourne cable trams, electric trams from across Australia, buses and work trucks from Melbourne and tramway related items of interest.

We run the Melbourne Tramway Museum where most of our cable trams, electric trams, buses and collectables are housed.

The TMSV also produces a bi-monthly publication “Running Journal” which is available on our site along with historical articles highlighting the way things were.
