DISCOVER VICTORIA’S ORIGINAL TRAMWAY MUSEUM

M&MTB buses started making an appearance on Melbourne streets replacing Cable Car trams on various routes from the 1930’s.  Over time the MMTB bus network grew with depots located at Footscray, Elwood, Sandringham, Doncaster and North Fitzroy.

The MMTB and SECV also required specialised vehicles to maintain their networks. A few examples are currently present at the Tramway Heritage Centre.
